I'm Gavin Ting, a 19 year-old Diploma with Merit in Business Administration graduate, majoring in International Business & Trade as well as Entrepreneurship. My entrepreneurial efforts have often been focused towards social causes, and I have been recently featured in The Business Times.

My journey in photography started in 2007, and I've been steadily building experience and my portfolio since then. I aspire to be a photojournalist in future, and to that end, I've been involved in photographing (quite often on a voluntary/charitable basis) major events, such as the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games and SPH 2010 Child Aid Concert.

One of my pet projects is a mobile studio concept, where I bring a strobist-style studio to a children's home, and take their photos. The kids get a free printed copy of the photo to keep as a memento, and they have lots of fun doing it! I did two of these projects last year, and am looking forward to doing even more in the years to come.
